Accountant - Offshore Accounting [Hybrid]

- Actively participate in the roles assigned relating to monthly, quarterly and annual close process and ensure assigned tasks are completed timely and accurately, including journal entries and ledger maintenance activities.
- Complete assigned schedules, including workpapers, ensuring relevant account reconciliations are completed timely and accurately.
- Reconcile related party invoices, including timesheet consumption reporting and ensure supporting documentation is obtained. Prepare capital call requests to shareholders and reconcile capital accounts.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by direct supervisor or his/her designee.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting or finance.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, either in-progress or designated, OR legacy Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified General Accountant designation (CGA).
- A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working within an accounting department (public practice, from a mid-tier or Big 4 CA/CPA firm);
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel; and
- Previous experience successfully handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent administrative, organizational and communication skills required.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment; and
- Ability to manage time and work under tight deadlines.
