The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering data-driven solutions that support business growth, improve operational efficiency, and drive strategic initiatives. This role will play a critical part in ensuring seamless data flow, optimising workflows, and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions.What will your day look like? You will…Develop strategic principles and frameworks to support optimal decision making across business functionsBuild knowledge of our technology stack and data flows to align data with business context, enabling teams to solve complex business challengesWork with the broader business functions to evaluate key business drivers and trends, support metric and dashboard development and provide reporting on operational performanceBuild strong relationships with a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders , including teams across Insurance, Partner Services, Compliance, Data Science, Partnerships and Pricing teams to streamline processes, optimise workflows, and support efficient use of resourcesWork directly with our captive insurance company to support reporting and underwriting performance managementProject manage data driven initiatives and provide support such as facilitating workshops and internal trainingCollaborate with and educate stakeholders around data governance policies and procedures enabling consistent and standardised use of data across business functionsWork with our Data Engineering team to enable data driven solutions cross functionallyTo help us level up, you'll ideally have:2+ years of experience in a data related roleBachelor's degree in a relevant fieldExperience in the development and execution of data-related projectsUnderstanding of data operations, data governance, and data management principlesExperience with data integrations, data validation, and data quality checksExcellent communication skills with the ability to present the complex clearly and conciselyStrong SQL proficiency and database infrastructure knowledge required. Experience with Python/R or other statistical programming languages is a bonusExcellent data analysis and visualisation skillThe ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders from a range of backgrounds and levels of seniorityStrong analytical and problem-solving with an enthusiasm to drive data-driven decision-makingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlinesWhy Cover Genius?Cover Genius not only cares about being the best in our industry, we care about our team.
