- Monitor project progress, identify deficiencies and risks, and communicate updates, issues, and corrective actions to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Lead planning and coordination activities including project initiation, look-ahead scheduling, workface planning, and translating work requirements into executable work packages.
- Ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are met through inspections, compliance monitoring, and immediate resolution/reporting of non-conformances and incidents.
- Support change management and project controls processes, including material take-offs, procurement coordination, resource planning, and Management of Change (MOC) activities.
- Utilize client systems and technical drawings (including isometrics and 3D models) to develop, adjust, and optimize work packages for field execution.
- Demonstrate leadership by supporting and mentoring teams, promoting a positive culture, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies, contractual obligations, and KPI requirements

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members in high-pressure situations.
- Strong computer proficiency including Primavera P6, Maximo, SmartPlant, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint), and other project scheduling/management systems.
- Technical Trade Certificate or Journeyperson Certification required; Leadership for Safety Excellence is an asset.
- Minimum 2+ years of supervisory/management experience required, with QA/QC, scheduling, safety certifications (NCSO/AMSA), and industrial site experience considered assets.
