
Field Operator

- Provide onsite field response and communication for Control Center Operations (CCO), including operational troubleshooting and initial emergency response (e.g., equipment isolations, spill containment).
- Complete receipt/delivery tickets for customer distribution.
- Responsible for custody transfer, quality sample collection, and facilitating customer witnessing (meter proving, temperature, density, pressure checks, sediment & water testing, valve block and bleeds, spot, composite, and cylinder sampling).
- Perform operational preventative maintenance tasks, such as routine tank inspections, level and temperature accuracy checks, and inspections of fire extinguishers, safety, and measurement equipment.
- Carry out terminal maintenance activities, including stormwater management, vegetation control and lawn care, snow removal, minor repairs, and updating signage as needed.
- Complete general housekeeping duties on terminal grounds and facilities as directed by the Terminal Supervisor.
- Conduct security checks, operational checks, record keeping, and documentation.
- Assist the Electrical, Mechanical, and Pipeline Maintenance departments as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED, with minimal direct training and experience.
- Capable of repetitive lifting, bending, crouching, standing, and physically demanding outdoor work.
- Must undergo background screening, including a 5-year driving record (valid driver’s license), criminal check, and company-sponsored medical and drug testing.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with company applications such as Maximo, CTTS (Custody Transfer Ticketing System), and CMT (Commodity Movement Tracking) are preferred.
- A Power Engineering Certificate is considered an asset.
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour day and night rotation, including weekends, to support 24/7 operations.
- Frequent exposure to adverse weather conditions and the requirement to wear protective equipment to prevent serious or lost-time injuries.
