Our insurance client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with a background in Property and Casualty Insurance, and more specifically with personal and commercial auto and trucking experience.This position hss a hybrid working arranagement.Here's some of what you'll be doing:
  • Meet with business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to identify, clarify, document, and communicate business systems requirements
  • Create Business Analysis artifacts such as BRD's, User Stories, Use Case Scenerios, Definition of Done, Acceptance Criteria, process flows, impact analyses and other artifacts as required
  • Participate in / lead scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning sessions, scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives and backlog refinement sessions
  • Use best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice with the organization, recommend enhancements to current process
  • Guide stories through the SDLC,

  • Experience as a Business Analyst / Business System Analyst
  • Solid insurance domain knowledge (P&C, Personal and Commercial Auto, Trucking)
  • Worked in a related field for minimum 3 years in a brokerage, claims, underwriting or IT function
  • Your are drive to excel and to enhance your professional development within the business analysis domain (candidates with CBAP or PMI-PBA preferred)
  • Experience working in Agile and hybrid environments
  • Strong MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint), basic SQL an asset
