CMC is a major supplier to the aerospace and high-technology industries, airlines, military agencies and government customers worldwide.Why join our planning team?As a member of the planning group, you have a key role in the planning, the manufacturing and material management, the engineering change management, and in the customer order tracking across the supply chain..As Product and Material Controller, your key responsibilities consist of:

Tracking their products through all stages of the order, from the availability of the material to the release and tracking of production orders, to on-time delivery to the customer
Working together with staff from other departments, such as contracts, programs, finance, and manufacturing, to better understand customer issues and provide world-class service
Keeping data in the ERP system up to date, and maintaining a production plan that reflects customer needs and priorities
Providing the material disposition sheet required for engineering changes (ECOs)
Performing periodic inventory audits, perform deviation and reconciliation searches as needed
Performing any other related tasks as assigned.

How to excel in this role:

College diploma or equivalent in a relevant field
Minimum of two (2) years’ prior experience in a related job.
Knowledge of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and extensive knowledge of inventory management.
Understanding of manufacturing technologies for multiple processes that affect their products.
Knowledge of production and operations management through APICS training is desirable.
