Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
Field testing concrete at customer sites, offering troubleshooting and technical expertise in relation to production and product development.
Work with customers in the development and implementation of new solutions.
Assume a collaborative role in plant quality council activities, product development, and SCM sourcing and market development.
Promote CRH products to users and Engineering specifiers of cement.
Maintain highly positive company profile through participation in industry associations.
Work with the Marketing team to help strengthen the link between managing customer needs around quality, while focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

Bachelor’s/University Degree preferably in Engineering.
2-3 years of experience is preferred
Moderate travel required between sites
A strong knowledge of the Energy/ waste sector, Construction Industry and Engineering Building Design sector
Ability to organize and write effective technical reports and communicate effectively with a high level of technical skill
A strategic thinker, able to identify opportunities and manage new ideas and projects
A self-starter with strong sense of initiative to be able to think outside the box and motivate and coordinate diverse teams
Ability to work on large concepts down to finite details
Advanced interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently
Energetic with strong business acumen
A self-starter that has the ability to collaborate with a number of teams
