We are supporting an established consulting engineering firm in Oakville, Ontario, in their search for an energetic and dynamic Electrical Transportation Engineer to join their growing Transportation department. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on the design and review of Electrical Traffic Signals and Roadway Lighting projects.Join a dynamic team and contribute to impactful transportation infrastructure projects across Ontario!Responsibilities:

Design and review electrical systems for transportation infrastructure, including traffic signals and roadway lighting.
Ensure compliance with standards set by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) and/or local municipalities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
Utilize AutoCAD and, where applicable, MicroStation, to create and review technical designs.
Conduct field assessments and provide technical expertise to support project needs.

Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of MicroStation is considered an asset.
Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to industry-specific software.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for field-related tasks.
