- Lead day to day coordination between the disciplines working on the buildings or structures included in their package.
- Lead their package’s internal weekly coordination meeting, including meetings minutes and tracking of action items, as well as package’s weekly design coordination meetings.
- Follow up on input requests from the designers.
- Attend weekly meetings with the design lead and discipline leads.
- Attend Facility design working groups with the Province and stakeholders as needed;
- Follow up on action items with their design team.
- Actively participate in their package issue resolution; escalate to design lead as needed.
- Monitor progress of deliverables to ensures timely delivery of design submittals.
- Performs ongoing review of the package drawings and other documents for completeness, compliance to PA, adherence to procedures and other project requirements.
- Lead BIM coordination within the scope of their package, leading clash detection sessions; follow up on timely and adequate resolution.
- Set up and coordinate internal Bluebeam review and perform final review of deliverables prior to submitting to SFSP.
- Follow up on responses to review comments received thru the review submittal process with TI Corp, to ensure that responses are complete, correct and coordinated.
- Leads a “champion” task related to coordination with one or several of the Specialty Subconsultants.
- Excellent technical, communication, organizational, managerial and planning skills.
- Working knowledge of contract language and legal requirements of contracts.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to liaise with professionals from various engineering disciplines.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to identify and analyze problems and provide solutions.
- Attention to detail.
- Must have a degree in a related engineering discipline such as civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering or architecture.
- Working knowledge of contract language and legal requirements of contracts.
- Comfortable in working in a disciplined and pressurized environment.

- Knowledge of building and civil engineering,construction methods, materials and legal regulations.
- Ability to understand and work with engineering and technical drawings as well as Project Schedules.
