
Mine Water Resources Engineering Student

The position will be dynamic and iterative, requiring problem solving skills, the ability to prioritize and frequent optimization.
It is expected that the successful candidate for this role would also support the following types of activities:
- Work closely with various internal engineering groups
- Manage various water related studies and review findings/recommendations with team to determine next steps (conduct internal design or provide scope to consultant)
- Work closely with the various stakeholder from field and office - Water Resource Engineer / Hydrologist, Civil Field Engineers, Environment and Regulatory Advisors, Geotechnical Engineers, Civil Engineers, Reclamation Specialists, Mine Planning
- Working towards a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Hydrogeology, other mining related engineering fields
- Equivalent work experiences an asset
- Able to work individually, as well as in a team situation, with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Deswik is an asset
- Experience with HEC-HMS is an asset
- Strong excel skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong planning skills
- Ability to work in a team setting
