- Hold a Degree in Kinesiology with a focus on psychomotor behaviour and exercise rehabilitation
- Demonstrate experience developing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying physical and/or cognitive exercise programs based on the needs of the residents
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
- Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the role
- Registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
- Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices a Experience and/or desire to provide educational sessions/ seminars
- Demonstrated experience working with seniors and/or persons with cognitive or physical impairments
- Experience working in the retirement and long-term care sector (eg. School placement)
