We are looking for a Service Technician with the drive and ambition to succeed in a dealership environment.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Service Technician is responsible for assisting our customers with their fleet maintenance and repairs including the following:

Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs following established procedures and safety standards.
Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.
Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to the next job.
Mentor technicians and apprentices by sharing skills, offering guidance, and supporting their development.
Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and helping maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

A Red Seal Heavy duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification.
A CVI License
A proven industry background with Cummins experience and training.
Experience with Cummins engine diagnostics.
5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
A desire to challenge yourself, and a willingness to embrace the extensive dealer training opportunities we provide through our dedicated training facility located at our Red Deer location.
