
Cost Accounting Manager

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to cost and inventory accounting
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis related to costs.
- Provide cost analysis for pricing decisions, product line profitability, and margin improvement.
- Develop, implement and monitor cost standards for products and operations.
- Conduct BOM and routing reviews to align with actual production processes
- Track inventory movements and ensure accurate costing of WIP and finished Goods
- Support Sales Analyst with development of a Pricing Calculator
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Strong MS Excel and data visualization tools / Power BI).
- Accounting degree in Finance, or related field (CMA preferred or working towards and experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, in a industrial / manufacturing or machinery or environment.
- Strong knowledge/practical experience in cost accounting principles, GAAP and inventory accounting.
- Exposure of Lean Manufacturing or some knowledge of Six Sigma principles ( asset )
