Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the work of maintenance personnel: mechanics, avionics technicians, sheet metal workers, interior mechanics, and other classifications under their responsibility.This position is a great opportunity for a certified technician looking to move into a supervisory role and contribute to the performance and reliability of our fleet.Main Responsibilities
  • Motivate and guide employees to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure all maintenance work on company aircraft complies with MCM/MPM requirements and manufacturer manuals.
  • Review aircraft logbook entries issued by the maintenance department.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure aircraft are serviceable for scheduled departures.
  • Recommend safety, training, or process improvements to the Hangar & Line Maintenance Manager.
  • Monitor and report absenteeism, tardiness, and performance issues to the Hangar & Line Maintenance Manager.
  • Promote a positive and progressive approach to discipline in collaboration with management.
  • Coordinate with other maintenance bases to ensure proper follow-up on aircraft discrepancies.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Hangar & Line Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
  • College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a certified technician
  • Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance license
  • Knowledge of the AMOS system (an asset)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience as a team leader (an asset)
  • Recent certification on Air Transat aircraft (an asset)
  • Bilingual (French and English)*
Additional Information*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
