The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for preparing accurate and compliant quotations for accredited certification and assurance services. The role supports the sales team by analyzing client requirements, determining certification scope, calculating audit duration, and preparing proposals in accordance with accreditation rules and internal procedures.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with technical and operational teams to ensure quotations meet both commercial and accreditation requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview client applications, RFQs, and scope information to determine certification requirements.Prepare detailed quotations for management system certification services such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.Calculate audit duration and certification cycle requirements in accordance with applicable accreditation rules and guidance from organizations such as the International Accreditation Forum.Collaborate with sales managers, technical reviewers, and operations teams to ensure quotes are technically accurate and commercially viable.Maintain accurate quote records and client data in CRM systems such as Salesforce.Ensure all quotations comply with internal procedures and accreditation requirements.Support the sales team with technical clarification, proposal preparation, and client follow-up when required.Identify missing or unclear scope information and communicate with clients or sales representatives to obtain necessary details.Qualifications2-5 years of experience in inside sales, sales operations, or quotation preparation, preferably in certification, compliance, or professional services.Working knowledge of management system standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 is an asset.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, Word.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key CompetenciesAnalytical thinkingAttention to detailCustomer focusCollaboration and coordinationTime managementCompliance awarenessSuccessful candidate must haveAbility to work independently without supervisionEffective time management skillsAnalytical & Problem-Solving SkillsQuotes often require interpreting incomplete or complex data. Detect scope gaps or missing information.Coordination & Project ManagementInside sales often acts as a hub between several internal stakeholders.Frequent coordination with: Technical reviewers, Scheme managers, Auditors, scheduling, etc.Key skills: Managing multiple quote requests simultaneously, Tracking quote approval workflows, Ensuring accreditation compliance before issuing quotesCommunication Skills. Clear communication is critical because quotes often require technical clarification.Attention to Detail & Compliance MindsetAccredited certification services are highly regulated. Important qualities: Strong documentation discipline. Ability to follow internal procedures. Understanding of accreditation risks. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
