Then, Apply Now!Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a SQL Database Admin (Migration & Azure) who will administer, maintain, and optimize MS SQL databases (on-premises and Azure SQL/MI). This candidate will lead and execute database migration projects, including on-prem to Azure and Oracle to Azure migrations.Responsibilities:

Champion performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure optimal database performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust database solutions.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on database support and best practices.
Work with ServiceNow for incident and change ticket management.
Participate in Agile methodology and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
Deliver excellent customer support and foster strong collaboration within the team.

Desired Skill Set:

5+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL (on-premises)
3+ years of experience with Azure SQL and Managed Instances
3+ years of expertise in database migrations (on-prem to Azure, Oracle to Azure)
Strong knowledge of database architecture, Azure components, and cloud best practices.
Excellent performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Have:

Banking experience
Experience with ServiceNow incident and change ticket processes
Experience with Agile methodologies
