In this role, you will work directly with clients, staff, and partners to deliver non-audit assurance, accounting, and tax services for private clients. You bring strong technical skills, a client-focused mindset, and a passion for helping businesses succeed.
What you will do
  • Manage and review compilation, review, and tax compliance engagements for private clients
  • Apply knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
  • Ensure timely completion of engagements and communicate deadlines clearly
  • Support partners with client billings and receivables
  • Exercise sound professional judgment and seek guidance when needed
  • Build trusted relationships by understanding client needs and delivering tailored advice
  • Lead and mentor engagement teams to foster growth and collaboration
  • Meet with clients to present results and deliver final reports
  • Act as Performance Manager to staff
What you bring to the role
  • CPA designation with at least 2 years of experience in a management role in public practice
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounting and tax for private enterprises
  • Experience working with private companies of varying sizes
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Effective leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
KPMG BC Region Pay Range InformationThe expected base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $104,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications.
