Context:Systra is hiring for a Design Compliance Lead, reporting to Systems Quality Manager for a Rail Project in Ontario. Missions/Main Duties:

Lead design compliance framework for Integration & Assurance;
coordinate systematic reviews of designs and deliverables to confirm compliance with codes, standards, Owner’s Requirements and Alliance processes;
manage design issues, departures and concessions registers;
work with discipline leads and Systems Engineering to resolve non-conformances;
provide regular reporting on design compliance status and risks to Systems Quality Manager and project leadership.

Profile/Skills:

University degree in Engineering or related discipline;
12+ years’ experience in design and design management for rail / transit or major infrastructure projects;
Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or equivalent
demonstrated experience in design review, assurance, codes/standards compliance and technical governance;
strong understanding of Metrolinx and applicable regulatory requirements;
proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary reviews and manage design issues to closure.
