You will be part of our Business Transformation team and help clients by focusing on providing business advisory services that achieve measurable benefits in operational efficiency and strategic decision making.This job posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization.Your key responsibilitiesAs a Senior Consultant, you'll contribute to client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be to develop compelling and meaningful deliverables, while actively establishing, maintaining and strengthening internal and external relationships. You will also identify potential business opportunities for EY within existing engagements. Similarly, you anticipate and identify risks within engagements and raise any issues with senior members of the team. As a member of the team, you will help create a positive learning culture, while providing coaching and counselling to other team members.As a Business Transformation Senior Consultant, you will:

Participate in client engagements
Contribute to market and business development
Ensure the successful execution of project work
Provide insights and ideas to assist in drafting high quality project work products
Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge
Display teamwork, integrity and leadership
Use technology and tools to continually learn and innovate, share knowledge with team members and enhance the delivery of services

Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Values, principles, and work ethic consistent with those outlined in the EY Global Code of Conduct
Willingness to learn and adapt to rapid-changing environments

To qualify for the role you must have

Professional designation and/or certification i.e. MBA, CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, PMP, CMC, Prosci
Demonstrated experience in project-based engagements in any or the combination of the following: IT systems and operations, ERP implementations, business transformation (org design, operating models, business process design, etc.)
Understanding of federal government structure and operations
Consulting experience is highly desired
Experience in business transformation and technology-enabled transformation is desired
Actively listens, values and applies feedback, and collaborates effectively
Ability to obtain or hold a Government of Canada security clearance up to Secret level

Ideally, you'll also have

Graduate level education or applicable professional designation

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

Ottawa: $83,500 to $125,500
