Job Description:POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Field Supervisor Concessions, prepares and serves fast food to the public and assists with the operation of Golf concessions.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides superior customer service in preparing and serving fast food to the public.
  • Receives payments, deposits daily revenue, and completes daily cash summary sheets; ensures daily deposits and float are balanced.
  • Keeps concession area clean and organized.
  • Assists with maintaining concession stock and stock records, which may include monitoring stock spoilage, ordering, receiving, and transferring stock.
  • Performs such other related duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Current certifications: Ontario Smart Serve and Safe food handling (Level 1)
Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to provide superior customer service, serving the public in a polite and efficient manner
  • Must have cash handling abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to practice good lifting, safety, and sanitation techniques
  • Must possess and maintain at minimum a valid Class “G2” Ontario Driver’s Licence
  • Must meet the definition of a competent driver as defined by the Corporation
  • Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it applies to this work
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • Must undergo a successful Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC)
  • Must maintain Safe Food Handling Certification (Level 1)
  • Must remain a competent driver as defined by the Corporation
  • May be required to provide a successful driver’s record (uncertified)
  • Will be required to work irregular hours and weekends
