- Develop strong client relationships and act as the client’s single point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectives
- Lead programs of work and large capital projects, varying in size and scope
- Manage all stakeholders including both clients and consultants
- Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issues
- Regularly report to the client on project status by means of schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records and other reports
- Manage project staff allocated to your projects, peer reviewing their deliverables and continuously developing their knowledge and capabilities
- Chair client, project and site meetings, find resolution to issues and coordinate between multiple stakeholders
- Maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Team Lead or Principal
- A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, project management or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, representing owner to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of project of varying size and scope
- Experience managing and delivering projects in the healthcare sector is an asset
- Experience with the preparation of RFP's, tenders and tender closing/award procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications
- Professional industry credentials such as the following, or other similar industry recognized designation is considered an asset: PMP, P,Eng, RA , CSA Z8000-18 Canadian Health Care Facilities, CSA Z317.13-17 Infection Control During Construction
