DESCRIPTIONAmazon.ca is looking for a bright, analytical, driven and customer-obsessed Vendor Manager for our Consumer Electronics business, supporting the Camera category. This individual will be responsible for own the strategic direction and management of key manufacturer (vendor) accounts.Vendor Managers utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon. This Vendor Manager will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize the product line for key manufacturers on Amazon.ca.The role will also be required to conceive, create and analyze a wide range of marketing and site merchandising efforts, marketing campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO) efforts, social media and other channels, to grow the vendor's traffic, brand awareness, customer conversion, and revenue on Amazon.ca. This role will autonomously negotiate promotional opportunities for vendors and create comprehensive marketing proposals.In addition to site merchandising and marketing, this role is responsible for inventory management, forecast generation, new product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca.This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the most innovative online retailer and to develop and build strong functional skills in online merchandising/marketing, buying, planning and forecasting, pricing, and business analysis. This role is responsible for managing a brand/vendor on Amazon.ca and driving growth of the business. It includes inventory management, forecast generation, product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca.Vendor Managers will also conceive, create and analyze a wide range of marketing campaigns to drive vendor growth, brand awareness, customer conversion and topline revenue on Amazon.ca. Marketing activities would include:
· Create comprehensive marketing proposals
· Search engine optimization (SEO)
· Social media Campaigns
· Email campaign creation and analytics
· Create and execute promotional strategiesVendor Manager roles are in the General Management career path at Amazon. This Vendor Manager (SVS- Strategic Vendor Services) role is entry level (L4) within this career path. - Bachelor's degree
- Experience using Excel and other business analytic toolsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with software and editing tools (including HTML, Excel and SQL)
- Experience in online retail
