This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge electrical equipment and provide top-notch sales solutions.
- Respond to customers bid requests and internal requests
- Research on-line bid opportunities
- Analyze and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications and addendums
- Clarify electrical testing scope of work with customer estimators, project managers and engineers of record
- Obtain pricing from vendors for equipment repairs, parts and other departments
- Prepare computer-based estimates
- Participate in bid strategy meeting as requested
- Generate reports, project bid status, PO’s received
- Prepare draft proposal for Outside Sales Engineer
- Work closely with Outside Sales Engineer
- Facilitate contract hand off to Operations and Engineering department including job assumptions
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with a strong background in electrical power.
- Alternatively, experience working with electrical equipment distributors
- Experience with a member company of the Professional Electrical Apparatus Recyclers League (PEARL) is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
