
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

- Carry out line maintenance (daily, weekly, service checks) on various aircraft types.
- Perform other work on aircraft as outlined by applicable Inspection Instructions, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins in accordance with accepted practices.
- Ensure that all items of work are recorded and signed out as required on the applicable Maintenance Control forms.
- Carry out any other assigned duties as directed by the supervisor/manager.
- Track and plan maintenance activities and coordinate with Dispatch as required.
- Hold a valid Transport Canada M2 aircraft maintenance engineer license (Boeing 737 NG/Max endorsement).
- Minimum 2 year of licensed AME experience and line maintenance experience is an asset.
- Be familiar with the appropriate parts of the MPM, MCM, aircraft operations specifications and maintenance manuals necessary for the performance of his/her duties.
- Applicant must be able to work independently and/or in a team environment and have good organizational skills, pro-active, result-oriented and strive for continued improvement.
- Airport Security Clearance (RAIC) including an airside driver’s permit (AVOP) for any AP is a plus.
