The incumbent will provide both strategic and hands-on leadership, guiding a team responsible for executing the University’s marketing strategy. They will engage thoughtfully with administrators, Chairs, staff, and instructors to develop and implement approaches that drive enrolment and enhance the University of Guelph-Humber’s profile.Responsibilities include designing and delivering print and digital campaigns, collecting, and analyzing data to monitor market trends in the post-secondary sector and labour market, and assessing the effectiveness of marketing tactics to inform future strategies.QualificationsWhat you bring to the role:EducationThe successful candidate will have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. Masters preferred.Experience and SkillsThe successful candidate will have:Extensive experience (5-9 years) in digital marketing and brand strategyStrong analytical skills and familiarity with leading marketing analytics platforms (e.g. Google/Adobe), social media management tools (e.g. Sprout) and CRMExperience in Post-Secondary Education is requiredExperience in brand management is an assetKnowledge of current educational trends and challenges facing post-secondary institutions and the post-secondary education sector requiredExcellent interpersonal, team building and conflict-resolution skills; ability to work cooperatively with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills including consultative and relationship management skillsExcellent ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak EnglishStrict attention to detailAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levelsAbility to manage competing prioritiesAn understanding of Collective Agreements, Terms and Conditions of Employment for Administrative Staff, internal policies/practices, and government regulationsStrong organizational and project-management skillsDigital fluency and competence with MS Office Applications, and relevant platformsIf this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!At the University of Guelph-Humber, we don’t just accept difference — we celebrate it!
