- Strategize and collaborate with all levels of sales and service functions to ensure the best client experience possible.
- Develop and implement team goals and performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
- Encourage a culture of accountability and high performance within the team.
- Overall management of a large service and support team including:
- Recruitment
- Onboarding
- Training & Development
- Performance Management
- Engagement
- Ensure effective and efficient business processes and procedures are in place, regularly evaluating and improving them to enhance overall performance.
- Plan and support regular quality assurance audits and execute on any required corrective actions.
- Develop and execute strategic workforce planning initiatives to align staffing levels with business needs and objectives.
- Ensure proper provincial licensing as well as insurance company contracting is in place.
- Collaborate with national and corporate resources to ensure cohesive and aligned efforts across the organization.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- A seasoned professional with 15+ years’ operational management experience in the employee benefits industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse, high-performing teams to achieve organizational goals and drive business success.
- Possess an inquisitive nature and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal.
- Skilled at delegating, setting expectations, and monitoring progress of all direct reports.
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and sets an example of professionalism for other employees.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting generating.
- Valid Life License (LLQP) in the Province of British Columbia (or obtained within 6 months).
- CEBS, CALU, CIM, and other designations preferred.
