
Intermediate Civil Technologist

- Perform general project duties including preparing cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents, under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Technologist
- Develop, prepare, and review civil engineering design drawings, coordinating with the engineering Design Team
- Conduct site inspections and materials testing as required
- Manage construction contracts and liaise with clients and contractors
- Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines
- Replacement and upgrade of underground water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure
- Development of water treatment and pumping facilities
- Wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment facilities
- Infrastructure assessments and studies
- Road Rehabilitation
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
- Member or eligibility for membership in ASET
- 3-5 years of municipal civil engineering experience, including but not limited to:
- (Water Distribution Systems, Wastewater Collection Systems, Stormwater Management Systems, Site Grading, Transportation)
- Demonstrated knowledge of general construction methods
- Strong presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Proficiency with Civil3D software
