Individually these are just words, but together they are our Values – Care, Commitment, Community, and Confidence.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Communication and Content, the Broker Communications Specialist is responsible for collaborating on all aspects of and driving Aviva’s communications to all of its Personal and Commercial insurance brokers. This role is passionate about ensuring our broker community is updated and engaged in all activities pertaining to them and their ability to work with Aviva.The incumbent will work closely with a number of internal collaborators on issuing business updates, including email bulletins, monthly newsletters, and any other appropriate marketing and communications content. Topics can vary from business result updates, to product launches to articles on seasonal insurance tips. Primary channels include email, print, and website/portal.You will work very closely with partners to gather content requirements, align on messaging/tone, draft communications, and incorporate feedback from all collaborators.Come join our team!What you'll do:Written communications to our broker communities. This includes ensuring the communications are relatable to the insurance broker audience.Internal team member management and teamwork. Working with product/business leads, underwriting teams, business development, marketing leads, HR, and C-suite executives to handle requirements.Lead and coordinate requirements/briefs, draft content, gather feedback, revise content and ensure final approval from all partners.Run monthly newsletter content calendar including hosting planning sessions and gaining alignment on final content for each month.Assist Broker Communication Lead in the development of communications strategy including recommendations on messaging, channel usage, timing, cadence, etc.Exercising discretion on confidential content including business results and organizational announcements.Be responsible for broker communications inbox.Support the management of email distribution lists including updates, segmentation, and engagement metrics. This includes Marketo.What you'll bring:Degree or equivalent experience or certification in Marketing, Communications/PR, Journalism, or related business field.Minimum 1-3 years communications experience, passionate about written communications. Strong preference to experience within the insurance industry. Financial services or other broker-focused industry will also be considered.Experience across a variety of written business communications content including, business updates, product launches, and other broker related topics.Experience collaborating with multiple collaborators to gain alignment and implement written communications.Work with our team, collaborating with and leading numerous partners, at all levels of the organization, at any given time.Proven track record of ability to multitask and project manage, under strict timelines. Keep track of all tasks, prioritize, manage time, and be diligent.Must be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements, differing partner requirements and evolving timelines.Excellent english business writing communications skills. Experience with drafting and editing written communications.
