Employment Type: Contract / Full-timeOverviewOur client is looking for a proactive and hands-on CoSS to manage health and safety operations for a residential construction project in Anjou. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to fostering a strong safety culture on site.Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all CNESST regulations and safety protocols
- Monitor daily site activities and enforce safe work practices
- Identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures
- Lead site orientations and ongoing safety training for workers and subcontractors
- Conduct incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions
- Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Valid CNESST CoSS accreditation (mandatory)
- 3+ years of experience in construction health & safety
- Residential project experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and promote a safety-first mindset across teams
