About the RoleWe are looking for a Site Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day construction activities of a mid-rise residential project on Montreal’s South Shore. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating trades, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency on-site.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise all on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery.Enforce site safety practices in collaboration with the Health & Safety Coordinator (COSS) and ensure compliance with CNESST regulations.Conduct daily site meetings and maintain effective communication between project management, trades, and consultants.Track progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective measures.Oversee site logistics including deliveries, equipment, and material handling.Perform quality control checks to ensure work meets required standards.Maintain up-to-date site documentation including daily reports, site logs, and progress records.Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders on-site.QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent (experience with mid-rise residential or institutional projects preferred).Strong knowledge of Quebec Building Code, CNESST regulations, and construction best practices .Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple trades.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software and digital site tools (an asset).Bilingual (French required, English an asset).What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Full-time position with opportunities for career growth within the company.Collaborative and professional work environment.Opportunity to lead a large-scale mid-rise residential project on Montreal’s South Shore.
