We are recruiting a Project Manager to lead the commissioning and start-up of a brand-new manufacturing plant in the Woodstock area. This role focuses on facility commissioning, equipment installation, capital projects, operational readiness, and cross-functional project leadership.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full commissioning of a new manufacturing facility
  • Oversee equipment installation, automation integration, utilities, process systems, and plant start-up
  • Manage timelines, scope, budgets, and vendor performance
  • Coordinate contractors, OEM vendors, engineering teams, and site operations
  • Develop commissioning strategy, test plans, punch lists, and acceptance criteria
  • Monitor project risks and proactively resolve issues
  • Prepare the plant for operational readiness and successful handover
  • Drive strong documentation, progress reporting, and communication across teams
  • Assess utilities required for all production equipment and ensure proper integration with plant layout and workflow.
  • Oversee specification, sourcing, and procurement of new manufacturing equipment.
  • Manage installation and integration of machinery as the facility is being constructed.
  • Lead FAT and SAT activities to verify equipment performance and readiness before commissioning.
What You Bring
  • 5 to 10 years in manufacturing project management
  • Experience with plant start-up, greenfield projects, or major production line installs
  • Knowldegable regarding ulities needed for machines , plant layout and workflow etc
  • Specification, procurement, and installation of production equipment
  • Integrating machines with the building as it’s being constructed
  • Commissioning and start‑up experience
  • Strong knowledge of automation, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment
  • Excellent leadership and vendor management skills
Compensation :
  • $130,000 - $150,000
