Shift: 12-hour continental shiftsAbout the Role We're seeking a Quality Control Technician who's passionate about precision, safety, and continuous improvement. In this vital role, you'll ensure the integrity and excellence of ADM's food and feed products at our state-of-the-art vegetable oil processing facility in Windsor, Ontario. You'll be the heartbeat of our laboratory-conducting analytical tests, maintaining equipment accuracy, and ensuring every product meets ADM's world-class standards.What You'll Do
- Conduct wet chemistry tests and safely handle chemicals
- Prepare and analyze samples of raw materials, finished feed products (soybean meal, canola meal, hulls), and finished food products (edible oils)
- Use modern laboratory instrumentation and computerized data systems to record and track analytical results
- Calibrate and perform minor repairs on lab equipment to maintain reliability and compliance
- Perform daily quality and monitoring checks throughout the facility
- Retrieve and manage samples directly from production areas
- Ensure all testing follows GMP, HACCP, and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic data systems
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of OHSA standards, GMP, HACCP, and feed/food safety best practices
OR 8-10 years of relevant laboratory experience in a manufacturing or processing environmentWhat's in It for You
