Toronto, ONJK Executive Strategies is proud to partner with an industry-leading manufacturer in the color pigments space in search of a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join its Finance team! This role will support strategic and operational decision-making across the business.This role will report to the Director of FP&A and partner closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Accounting to drive insights that enhance efficiency, profitability, and growth. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable analyzing complex cost structures and operational metrics.Responsibilities
- Support the monthly reporting and quarterly financial forecast processes
- Partner with plant managers, supply chain, and operations teams to understand cost drivers, labor and overhead allocation, and production variances
- Analyze trends in raw material costs, labor utilization, and throughput to identify risks and opportunities
- Develop and maintain financial models for scenario analysis, capital investment decisions, and margin optimization
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports, variance analysis, and financial packages for leadership and the board of directors
- Support annual budgeting processes across business units, consolidating inputs and ensuring alignment with company goals
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements in reporting, systems, and data management
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with ERP systems (Infor M3) and BI Tools (Power BI)
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting plant or factory operations directly
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma concepts
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred but not required
- Private equity exposure preferred
- $110k-$125k CAD
