Join our growing team as we build new solutions and services to support SFU’s academic and research mission.About the RoleThe Associate Director, Enterprise Systems oversees the university’s enterprise resource planning systems, including the selection, design, delivery, continuous improvement, maintenance, and operations of the portfolio of services and systems. Working in partnership with members of the university community, the Associate Director, Enterprise Systems creates strategic plans based on organizational goals and oversees the development of actionable projects and resource work plans based on these strategic plans. The role ensures enterprise systems and interfaces are consistent with ITS architectural principles and practices and ensures an appropriate balance between technical and functional resources supporting the overall goals of the Department.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Computing Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline, and eight years of related experience in areas such as enterprise resource planning systems preferably in the post-secondary education or public domain, with at least three of those years managing or supervising operational teams, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Executive leadership in defining and governing enterprise systems strategy, including ERP platforms, to align technology investments with organizational priorities.
  • Strategic leadership of multidisciplinary teams, with accountability for team workforce planning, capability development, and high-performance culture.
  • Trusted partner to senior partners, translating complex business needs into scalable technology solutions and driving data-informed decision-making.
  • Change Leadership & Stakeholder Influence
  • Enterprise-wide change through effective communication, consensus-building, and governance, managing competing priorities and organizational risk.
