Brief Description:Our employer is a single, unified data security platform (DSP) that discovers, classifies, and protects sensitive data across your entire environment, from on-premise to legacy cloud to cloud. They are looking for UX-focused product designer to play a key role in shaping how users interact with the their platform. The primary focus will be designing intuitive user experiences for complex enterprise workflows, including configuration, monitoring, policy management, and integrations. The individual in the role will lead the design of user journeys, task flows, and information architecture while also producing high-quality UI designs that support clarity, usability, and visual consistency. This role is best suited for designers who enjoy simplifying complex technical systems and enterprise workflows rather than focusing only on visual aesthetics. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure usability is incorporated early in the product development process and that UX decisions translate effectively into implemented features.Job Function:Lead UX Design for Complex Workflows
- Design end-to-end user experiences for complex enterprise security workflows.
- Map user journeys and task flows for core product functionality.
- Identify friction points and usability risks within technical configuration processes.
- Design structured configuration workflows that guide users through complex technical decisions while clearly communicating system state, validation errors, and operational impact.
- Conduct user interviews and usability sessions to understand how enterprise customers interact with the platform.
- Analyze product feedback, support issues, and usage patterns to identify UX improvement opportunities.
- Translate research insights into actionable design recommendations and product improvements.
- Design scalable information architecture across dashboards, configuration tools, and monitoring features.
- Structure navigation systems that support clarity and discoverability across the platform.
- Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to explore UX solutions before engineering implementation.
- Define interaction patterns that clearly communicate system feedback, state changes, and user actions.
- Produce high-fidelity UI designs that support strong visual hierarchy and usability.
- Maintain consistency with the DataStealth design system and visual language.
- Ensure interfaces follow accessibility and usability best practices.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Work closely with Product Managers to incorporate UX thinking into feature requirements.
- Partner with engineering teams during implementation to preserve usability and workflow clarity.
- Clearly communicate design rationale and user-centered thinking to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the evolution of UX practices and design standards across the product organization.
Job Requirement:
- 5+ years of UX or product design experience, ideally within enterprise software or SaaS platforms.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX problem solving for complex workflows, systems, or enterprise software (not just visual interface design).
- Experience designing dashboards, configuration tools, or data-driven applications.
- Strong understanding of usability principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and engineering teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
