- We’re looking for a Business Analyst (BA) who will play a key role in capturing business needs, defining functional requirements, and supporting the end to end delivery of a large-scale payments modernization program.

- Business Analysis & Requirements:
o Translate business needs into clear and concise BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and data mapping documents.
o Analyze and document end-to-end payment workflows covering domestic, international, wire, and real-time rails.
o Conduct gap analysis between legacy and target-state payment platforms.
- Project Delivery:
o Work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams within an Agile or hybrid delivery model.
o Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release cycles.
o Support test planning by defining test scenarios, validating acceptance criteria, and assisting UAT execution.
- Stakeholder & Change Management:
o Provide subject-matter input to training, operational readiness, and change management activities.
o Ensure all requirements align with regulatory, compliance, and risk management standards.Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably within payments or transaction banking.
- Strong understanding of domestic and international payment rails (e.g., ISO 20022, SWIFT, Wires, Real-Time Payments).
- Experience with enterprise-wide system replacement, platform modernization, or integration projects.
- Proficiency in writing user stories, use cases, process flows, and data requirements.
- Experience with payment hub platforms or vendor-based payment engines.
- Exposure to cloud-based architectures or API integrations.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to payments (e.g., ISO 20022 migration, anti-fraud, AML).
- Client experience or prior work with enterprise banking systems.
- Experience with LoanIQ
- Experience with BESS payments system
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.
- The best candidate is someone who can lead the project while also acting as the subject‑matter expert (SME) for the SWIFT‑related work across the labs. This person needs to operate with a Project Manager mindset, taking ownership of deliverables, risks, and escalations.
- They will attend all lab working sessions, identify anything urgent, at‑risk (red), or trending amber, and escalate those items to the hiring manager, director, or the appropriate stakeholders. In short, the ideal candidate combines project management experience with deep SME knowledge of SWIFT to ensure issues are captured early and the project stays on track.
- Video– 30 mins -1 hour – Hiring manager – Behavioral or situational and go through experience, technical assessment and role overview.
- 2nd: Video call – 30 mins -1 hour – Hiring manager and Director – Cultural fit.
