Your role :
  • The Road Supervisor is responsible for the effective management of the activities of the Road Service Department.
  • Manages and controls work in progress on a daily basis to meet promised deadlines.
  • Assigns tasks to technicians according to their knowledge and skills.
  • Manages work schedules.
  • Ensures timesheets are completed and processed appropriately.
  • Ensures that equipment is prepared according to the terms of the sales or rental contract.
  • Establishes workshop procedures in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Manages the recruitment and performance evaluation of technicians and their training needs, in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Participates in budget preparation.
Assists in the opening and closing of work orders, as required. * Maintains work-in-progress level according to company criteria.
  • Prepares and submits warranty claims in a timely manner.
  • Assists in the preparation of parts and service quotations.
  • Ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Takes the necessary steps to prevent hazardous situations and implements corrective measures.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager.
What you bring :The successful candidate will possess a Heavy Equipment Technician Certification.Other requirements include :Efficient and ambitious, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
  • Supervisory experience in a related field an asset.
  • Experience working with Komatsu products an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction equipment an asset.
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Acts with professionalism and integrity; motivates, supports and inspires subordinates; builds a competent and supportive team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel and Outlook.
