The Senior Accountant will play a key role within the Finance team leading reporting and month-end preparation. This is an exciting opportunity to build the foundational processes for a growing business. 3-4 years of related accounting or financial analysis experience required
Professional accounting designation CPA or equivalent is required
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Understanding of ERP and/or financial systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in retail, wholesale, ecommerce, logistics an asset

What You’ll DoFinancial Reporting:

Prepare financial reporting including month-end, quarter end and year-end financial statements and analysis
Perform complex analysis of financial results and present insights to internal business stakeholders
Develop strong understanding of financial forecast and perform meaningful variance analysis

Controls and Regulatory Compliance:

Play a lead role in the financial audit, review and quarterly review
Perform IFRS technical research and prepare technical memos
Prepare audit and tax working papers and analysis as requested
Develop internal control documentation, identify gaps and remediation plans

People & Technology:

Develop an in depth understanding of the financial system and become an expert on configuration and financial reports
Identify continuous improvement opportunities including automation, RPA
Work collaboratively with the business to identify process improvements

CompensationThe salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000 depending on experience. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. We offer a comprehensive range of benefits which includes:
