About the Opportunity
  • Provides strategic advice and guidance to the senior leadership on the Company's finance and budgeting processes, financial planning, and resource allocation.
  • Oversees the preparation and management of financial forecasts, budgets, and comprehensive quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the finance portfolio for company education group, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational policies, external audit requirements and financial best practices.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks to protect organizational assets and ensure sustainability.
  • Identify, design, and implement improvements to financial systems, business processes, policies and administrative workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Champion and drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial operations, ensuring adaptability and innovation.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce rigorous financial accountability standards across the organization.
  • Other duties as required.
About You
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • CPA designation is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, experience in higher education is preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills, experience in team building, leading change and adapting to new technologies.
  • Strong computer skills including Financial Information Systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and discretion when necessary and keep confidential highly sensitive information; highly developed and effective problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities within strict timeline constraints; proven ability to respond to frequently changing priorities; demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • A positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in working within an educational environment.
Salary Range
