The Journeyman Cook, on occasion may produce made to order options for veterans. The Journeyman Cook is responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety.This position will be based out of Camp Hill Veterans' Memorial Building main kitchen, cooking food for DGH, and will eventually move over to Dartmouth General Hospital once infrastructure is ready.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Certified Journeyman Cook
1 year experience preferred
Baking skills are an asset
Ability to deal with customers and patients in a courteous, helpful manner
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Competencies in other languages preferred; French an asset
