You are someone who strives to make an impact in this region's thriving tech sector and seeks a role where you can put your own innovative spin on things.About the RoleReporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Ecosystem Experiences Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of a portfolio of initiatives that showcase and strengthen Southwestern Ontario's innovation economy. This role blends creative experience design with strong project coordination, ensuring the seamless delivery of experiences, initiatives, and community engagement activities.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both big-picture ideation and operational execution-from designing engaging experiences for founders, industry leaders, and tech talent to coordinating timelines, logistics, reporting, and stakeholder communications that keep projects running smoothly.The Ecosystem Experiences Specialist will work closely with internal teams, ventures, ecosystem partners, and vendors to deliver high-quality experiences and initiatives that connect people, amplify innovation, and create meaningful impact across the region.The ideal candidate demonstrates strong alignment with TechAlliance's mission to champion world-class ventures and fosters a vibrant technology community. They bring experience designing engaging experiences, coordinating initiatives, or supporting ecosystem engagement, and thrive in a dynamic environment that requires creativity, collaboration, and strong attention to detail.   • Create and execute client and community-facing experiences showcasing Southwestern Ontario's innovation economy.
  • Support the lifecycle of a portfolio of initiatives, including planning, coordination, execution, and reporting.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, information sessions, and experiences that support TechAlliance initiatives and ecosystem engagement.
  • Manage relationships with experience-related vendors, venues, and speakers.
  • Pre-experience planning, creation and management of registration pages, coordinating catering requirements, nametag preparation, organizing speaker needs, writing remarks and acquiring necessary supplies.
  • Compose key internal and external communication pieces such as presentation materials, remarks, funder's reports, copywriting for event pages etc., with consistent brand tone and persona. Develop key messages, quotes, and other editorial materials.
  • Facilitate virtual and hybrid experiences including platform preparation, recording coordination, and post-experience content management.
  • Identifying panelists and keynote speakers that align to TechAlliance's mandate and in-demand topics for entrepreneurs, industry leaders and tech talent.
  • Ideate unique ways of delivering experiences to foster a vibrant technology community (i.e. interesting venues/different styles of events/etc.)
  • Develop critical paths, experience plans, and budgets for initiatives while monitoring expenses and supporting financial reconciliation as required.
  • Support project plans and timelines to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Liaise with ventures, partners, sponsors, and ecosystem stakeholders to support initiative objectives and engagement.
  • Develop relationships within the tech community and with our clients to amplify good news, celebrate achievements, and share upcoming experiences.
  • Continuous learning to deepen your understanding of the tech sector to anticipate opportunities for new experiences, education delivery and amplification of TechAlliance companies.
  • Attend regional technology and entrepreneurship experiences across Southwestern Ontario to support community engagement and business development efforts.
  • Support the collection and maintenance of initiative and experience data within TechAlliance's CRM to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in communications, business, project management, or public relations with event planning related curriculum.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Dedicated team player who is able to contribute to a vibrant team culture and core values, while prioritizing multiple and changing demands.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills while working independently and with ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Highly self-motivated and innovative thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to design engaging, memorable experiences.
  • Demonstrated success in building credibility, managing relationships, and proactively collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365, Canva, Zoom, event management platforms (Eventbrite and Luma); HubSpot and Slack an asset.
  • Active participant on social media platforms.
  • Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
  • Resides in Middlesex, Lambton, Oxford, Elgin or Huron county.
