Technologist, Projects (or EIT)

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and scheduling of multiple projects across operations.

• Review technical drawings, designs, and project documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project requirements.

• Support project teams by identifying potential risks, gaps, or inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions.

• Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule.

• Maintain and update project schedules, reports, and documentation.

• Participate in project meetings and provide technical input and updates.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders including engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company standards, and safety requirements (e.g., OHSA, MTCU where applicable).

• Diploma or degree in Engineering (e.g., Civil, Mining, Mechanical) or Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.

• Entry level position with option for technologist or engineer career path depending on education and interests.

• Experience working in a mining or related industrial environment is considered an asset.

• Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and project documentation.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to support multiple projects.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose practical solutions.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

• Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a strong willingness to learn.
