Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Lead RBC Investor Services (RBC IS) NAV Production team, overseeing accurate net asset value computations for our entire fund range. You'll drive operational excellence through effective team management, process optimization, and risk mitigation while ensuring strict adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements. This role combines strategic oversight of fund pricing production with coaching and development of talented fund accounting professionals.What will you do?Manage team resources, workload allocation, and performance to ensure consistent, accurate daily NAV deliverablesOversee fund valuations, reconciliation activities, and NAV control processes while serving as primary escalation pointMonitor service level agreements, minimize NAV discrepancies, and implement timely corrective actionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, processes, and operational efficiencyCoach and develop Supervisors, Senior Fund Accountants, and Fund Accountants on process, risk, and controlsPartner with internal teams (Custody, Transitions, Compliance, IT) and manage client relationships for launches, conversions, and terminationsEnsure compliance with regulations, accounting standards, and audit requirements through evolved procedures and controlsParticipate in NAV Production strategy projects and business continuity plan testingWhat do you need to succeed?Must haves:University degree in Accounting, Business, or FinanceExtensive funds industry experience with proven track record in Fund Accounting, Pricing, or Client ReportingStrong knowledge of fund products, financial markets, and applicable regulatory environmentsExpertise in accounting standards (IFRS and country-specific standards)Demonstrated management and coaching skills with excellent communication abilitiesProficiency with fund accounting systems and computer literacyNice-to-have:Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)CFA or similar professional credentialExperience with M-Power fund accounting systemKnowledge of RBC IS systems and workflowsWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
