Job Summary *Please note this position is a hybrid position.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role, you will act as a resource for back office and management to analyze issues, implement solutions, document or develop methods to mitigate, and gain access to various systems required. The competence with which the Analyst’s duties are carried out has a major impact on the credibility of the department, both within and outside the bank. Failure to perform in an efficient and competent manner can only jeopardize the bank’s reputation, but can also result in significant material losses. In addition, you must display considerable initiative in resolving various requests for interpretation and action that arise daily.Provide analysis for implementation and improvement of processes, workflow, project management methods, computer systems and other tools to support the Lending Services group.What will you do?Analyze areas of opportunity and operational efficiency, operational risk mitigation and actively assists in the implementation of solutions.Provide solutions to the business based on analysis of internal operations to optimize efficiency, cost savings and business value; and prepare, review, validate and provide data analysis for Executive, Financial and Operational levels.Develop quality measures to achieve high standard in reporting data while maintaining accuracy and meeting Service Level Agreement (SLA) for standard report requests.Automate the production of reports using different tools and methodologies to enable quicker production, greater consistency, and lower rates of error.Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives.Champion for new business initiatives – gather requirements, work to develop initiative with internal/external partners, review and conduct testing, assist in implementation, conduct training and provide support.Communicate as the secondary contact for the investigation of ACBS related data discrepancies, including all systems that integrate with ACBS.Apply logic and analytical skill to resolve complex business/system issues and effectively communicates the solution to the front-end users.Provide continuous guidance after thorough review and analysis on correct processes and procedures and is responsible for keeping the operational documentation current.Liaise with Strategic Initiatives, RBC IT, RBCCM, T&O and other Support IT to analyze, design and implement new business requirements, products and provides training to the Agency Services Group, Global Loans Administration and Operations.Act as the primary contact for system access requests ensuring employees only have access to required applications abiding to start/termination dates, escalating when required and updates documentation relating to process, master role/user list and tool guidesWhat do you need to succeed?Must HaveAn Undergraduate Degree (business and/or technology), plus 1-2 years’ relevant work experienceProficiency in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Very strong interpersonal skills  Detail oriented with strong organizational skillsLogical thinker and exceptional analytical skillsSelf-motivated individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving, changing and competing prioritiesClear and concise writing capabilitiesAbility to tailor written and oral communication to the intended audienceAbility to prioritize work load and perform under pressure in order to meet time sensitiveNice to HaveExperience working with ACBS and other related financial programsLean Six Sigma (yellow belt or practitioner) certificationAdvanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, VBA)Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP)Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)SQL knowledgeWhat is in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
