- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on domestic brand vehicles
- Perform maintenance and repairs on gasoline and diesel engines
- Troubleshoot engine performance, fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions components
- Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment and scan tools
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and scheduled services
- Repair braking, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
- Experience as an Automotive Technician or Automotive Service Technician
- Experience working with domestic vehicles (GM, Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use electronic diagnostic tools and service software
- Valid driver's license
- Own tools required
- Automotive Service Technician certification or equivalent experience
- Previous dealership experience
- Experience with light trucks and pickup vehicles
