Our commitment to excellence can be seen in those who invest and believe in what we do, those who share their lives with us, those who trust in our deliveries and those committed to innovation and a sustainable future.Every day, we have the chance to accomplish something new and you're invited to be part of it.WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?Responsible for tactical and strategic activities involving the purchases of services and equipment for CAPEX across two countries, US and Canada, and seven business units: Cement, CBM RMX & Aggregates, Prairie RMX & Aggregates, UM RMX & Aggregates and Superior RMX.This individual will work closely with Project Team and Operations to lead supplier evaluations, selections, and sourcing by researching industry trends, performing commodity market analysis and presenting recommendations. Thorough working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes and procedures is important as this role is the procurement point of contact for operations and our supply base.WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Preparation and coordination of all aspects of bidding process for RF's (e.g. Request for Proposal, Request for Information, Request for Quote)
Process and administer purchase orders via the procurement system (Coupa and SAP), including price negotiations, manage inquiries, expediting and status reviews.
Assist in drafting agreements that comply with company requirements and oversee vendor management process throughout the life cycle of contracts, ensuring compliance and performance
Collaborative meetings w/ customers and stakeholders to define and manage the procurement strategy aligned with the Projects & Operation's needs.
Support the maintenance of Departmental (KPI's) key performance indicators

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two to Five years' experience in sourcing or procurement field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient with MS-Office Suite (Outlook, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word). Ability to learn and keen interest in learning new tools and practices.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Negotiation, Cost Analysis, Vendor Relationships well as Accounting terms and concepts and maintenance operations. Knowledgeable in the Concrete/Construction industry preferred.
Understanding Procurement, Accounts Payables, and Receiving functions preferred.
Knowledge of working with SAP and Coupa is a plus.
