What you will do
- Lead and support end-to-end procurement activities for assigned software and cloud-based related suppliers, including sourcing strategy development, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
- Lead and /or support strategic sourcing initiatives (i.e.: market analysis, RFP/RFI processes, evaluation of supplier proposals, and negotiation of commercial and contractual terms)
- Act as a trusted procurement partner to global functional stakeholders providing commercial and contractual guidance aligned to business needs and firm strategy. (Assisting member firms in negotiations with products/services when procured through KPMG International)
- Partner closely with the International Office of General Counsel (IOGC), Global Independence, and Global Tax to ensure contracts meet legal, regulatory, independence, and risk requirements prior to execution and throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Ensure all procurement activity complies with Global Procurement policy, processes, and governance standards, including use of approved tools, templates, and systems
- Produce contract summaries containing key information on asset entitlement, usage rights and restrictions of finalized contracts
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of GP processes, tools, and documentation, including knowledge capture, standardization, and sharing of best practices across categories.
What you bring to the role
- 5+ years of global procurement experience working within a software or cloud based technology category
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university ;Certified Procurement professional qualifications are desirable.
- Proven track record of negotiating large enterprise agreements, with leading service providers in the software and cloud-based services category.
- Experience negotiating commercial, legal, standard and complex terms and conditions in a matrix organization
- Strong understanding of supplier management (managing technical, schedule, commercial, and terms and conditions compliance)
