
Repair and Restoration Tech

- Prepare material take-offs, read blueprints, interpret work orders, and apply building codes and construction math to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform a variety of restoration tasks, from site preparation through to job completion, across residential and commercial projects.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting project completion, proactively communicating with the Project Manager to stay on track with timelines and quality expectations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders by providing professional, timely, and accurate communication.
- Promote a safe and organized work environment by conducting hazard assessments, maintaining job sites, and ensuring proper use, storage, and upkeep of tools, equipment, and PPE.
- Report and document unsafe conditions or incidents, participate in safety training and inspections, and uphold organizational safety initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and respect for safeguarding property and confidential information.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract (per BELFOR Auto Policy).
- 1+ years of experience within the construction, restoration or insurance industry;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite;
- Understanding of customer service principles and practices; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism
- Due to the nature of our business, this position will work normal business hours but may be required to work in the evenings, on-call, or outside normal working hours;
- Perform tasks requiring mobility in tight or confined spaces, sustained physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, kneeling), and working at heights over 5 feet as needed;
- Manual dexterity for keyboarding, repetitive tasks, and prolonged periods of computer use, demanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
