I am urgently seeking a full-time live-in caregiver for my mother, a loved one who is affected by dementia. Given the nature and demands of this job role, I am reaching out for someone who can start immediately. The work schedule would encompass mornings and nights from Monday to Saturday (Friday included). This role, while undoubtedly demanding, is a rewarding opportunity where you'll have the chance to make a positive impact on my mother's life. As her caregiver, you will handle an array of responsibilities that are not confined to Alzheimer/Dementia care. These tasks also extend to housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, bathroom cleaning, and hand washing dishes. Furthermore, your duties will involve planning visits, outings, and trips to engage with neighbors, friends, and family. While a driver's license is not a requisite for this role, having experience with dementia is a major plus. Please be informed that there would be no need for automobile use within this role. The estimated working hours per week will be 30 - 40.
