What will you do?
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and insights related to Collections and Recovery operations
  • Develop and apply statistical models to forecast call volumes
  • Design and implement data visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with operational teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other analytics tools to support business decision-making
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and operational teams
What do you need to succeed?Must-have
  • Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with data and statistical models
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Nice-to-have
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling
  • Familiarity with call centre operations and workforce management principles
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2026 Student placement with a start date of January 2026, and end date of April 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2026 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
